They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.

How durable are they?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Stunning.

Would you buy again?

Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also be smart.
