Inspiring Today Those That Will Feed The World Tomorrow!
Harvest Heroes offers students the exciting opportunity to move from the role of bystander to the role of hero, on the world’s stage! This program presents students with the real problem of food security that every nation is working to address. With a worldwide decline in people pursuing careers in agriculture but an ever-increasing population of mouths to feed, we need the help of technology to bridge this gap. Luckily, technology is this generation’s superpower! Therefore, our job is to simply help today’s youth understand the connection between the two industries and the awesome career opportunities that are available in this field.
Hands-On Experiences
Grovetown: From the field to their Families Table.
With access to ample outdoor space, students will gain first-hand experience in bringing fresh produce from the field to your family’s table. It’s more than just gardening—it’s about understanding the joys and challenges, the wins and losses that farmers face in the real-world.
Evans: Cultivating Urban Innovation
At our Evans location, where outdoor space is limited, we take a different approach. Here, students dive into the world of urban agriculture as they explore innovative methods and alternative growing techniques. Your child will explore the challenge many face of growing food in environments where land is scarce. Our desire is to spark creativity and prepare them to become the next generation of agricultural pioneers.
In Both Programs:
Our goal is to go beyond simply planting gardens. Our desire is to plant ideas that can change the world and to grow future horticulturist that can thrive in any environment!
"What Else Can I expect?"
