Unlock Your Child's Potential with Lego Robotics

At Building Up STEAM, we believe that the future belongs to the innovators, problem-solvers, and team players. Our program is designed to cultivate these essential skills in children through the exciting world of Lego Robotics. Join us as we embark on a journey where fun meets learning, and creativity meets technology.

(2nd-6th Grade Only)

Our Lego Robotics program offers students a new and exciting real-world focus each semester, ensuring they develop a wide range of skills and knowledge.

Critical Thinking

Our curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. As students engage with complex building tasks, they learn to approach problems methodically, think outside the box, and persist through trial and error.

Team Work

In our Lego Robotics program, collaboration is key. Students work in teams to build and program robots, fostering a sense of community and improving their social and communication skills.

Perseverance

Building and programming robots can be challenging, and not every attempt will be successful on the first try. Therefore, our instructors stress the importance of perseverance, resilience, and having a growth mindset.

Fall24: Disaster Response

This semester’s focus is on helping victims that are currently in the response and recovery phases after a natural disaster. Through engaging projects, students will apply their skills to building robots to assess disaster zones, deliver supplies, and help to restore normal everyday operations back to the city.

Future Problem Solvers

With our commitment to preparing the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers, this program is designed to help students see themselves as future solutions to the world's problems.

Engineering Change

Participants develop a deeper understanding of how engineering can be used to address and solve critical issues in disaster response and recovery.

Real-World Applications

Through project-based learning, students see the real-world applications of what they learn, inspiring them to pursue STEM careers in the future.
